Frequently Asked Questions
Everything about Woundipets™ in plain words: the project, the veterinary fund, the NFT collection, the future editions and how to support it. If your question isn't here, just write to us.
1. Concept & Mission
Q: What is Woundipets™?
A: Woundipets™ is an international intellectual property (IP) brand combining the world of Web3 (NFT collections), physical merchandise (plushies, figurines, books, apparel, home decor), and a concrete charitable commitment: direct financial support for veterinary care.
Q: What is the origin of the project?
A: Woundipets™ was born from the true story of the Founder and her cat Tiny, who passed away after a 3-year battle with diabetes. Tiny's final six months were marked by false hopes and complications resulting from poor veterinary advice, leading to astronomical costs and suffering that could have been avoided. Added to this grief were numerous testimonies from pet owners experiencing the very same distress, unable to treat or save their companions because of unaffordable veterinary rates. The Founder's anger and grief transformed into a mission: creating a sustainable solution so that no animal is ever denied care because of financial constraints.
2. The Woundipets™ Veterinary Fund
Q: How does the Veterinary Fund work?
A: A minimum of 30% of royalties (collected from NFT sales and merchandise) is directly allocated to the Veterinary Fund. As the brand expands, the ultimate goal is to raise this figure to 70%.
Q: Why start at 30% for the Veterinary Fund? How is the remaining share used?
A: Since the goal is to guarantee rapid brand growth in order to maximise, in the long run, the absolute amounts allocated to animal care, the majority of the revenue returning to the Founder will be reinvested into the project across three main priorities:
• International legal protection: securing the brand and registering copyrights across strategic global markets (particularly in Asia) to prevent counterfeiting.
• Artistic & technical acceleration: hiring specialised freelance talent to rapidly produce future NFT collection editions (dogs, rabbits, etc.), develop the metaverse and voxel characters, and design video games.
• Brand expansion: launching physical merchandise lines and mobile applications.
By building the overall value of Woundipets™, the total amount dedicated to veterinary care will increase significantly, allowing the Fund's share to rise progressively toward the target of 70%.
Q: How do you guarantee that the funds actually go to the animals?
A: Absolute transparency and traceability: to prevent any fraud, money is never transferred directly to individuals. Payments are made directly to partner veterinary clinics upon presentation of official supporting invoices.
3. NFT Collection (Web3)
Q: What is the first Edition of the NFT collection?
A: The inaugural collection is the "Cat Edition", comprising 15,000 3D NFTs depicting stylised, anthropomorphic kawaii cats wearing medical outfits and accessories.
Q: Will there be other animals in the future?
A: Yes! The universe was designed to evolve. Future editions will feature other species (dogs, rabbits, birds, exotic animals, etc.).
Q: When does the collection launch?
A: The private sale opens on 15th November 2026 at 3PM GMT, and the public sale follows 48 hours later, on 17th November 2026. Join the priority list to be in the first wave.
Q: Which blockchain will the collection be deployed on?
A: The collection will be deployed on the Polygon network (POL, formerly MATIC). This choice ensures particularly low transaction fees (gas fees) for the community, while offering high execution speed and a reduced carbon footprint.
Q: What is the launch price of the first "Cats" edition?
A: The launch price (mint price) is structured across two phases:
• Private sale (presale): 230 POL (approx. $30 USD).
• Public sale: 440 POL (approx. $50 USD).
These are the prices paid to mint directly from the collection. The floor price — the lowest resale price you may see later on marketplaces such as OpenSea or Rarible — is set by holders on the secondary market; it is not controlled by Woundipets™ and cannot be announced in advance.
4. Merchandise & Lore
Q: What physical merchandise is planned?
A: The Woundipets™ universe will feature figurines, trading cards, customisable plushies, various books, puzzles, board games, apparel and textiles, home decor and various accessories. Partnerships are envisioned with major licences such as Funko Pop and Build-A-Bear Workshop.
For the general public, these items will showcase a selection of the most charming Woundipets as well as the heroes of the Lore. NFT holders will have the exclusive option to order physical items featuring their own unique NFT design.
There will also be an option to order a custom printed version of one's real-life pet using the dedicated "Make My Animal a Woundipet" application.
Q: What will the "Make My Animal a Woundipet" app do?
A: This application will convert any real-life pet into an official character within the Woundipets™ universe.
• How it works: users simply upload two clear photos of their pet (a full-body shot showing the fur coat, and a front or three-quarter view).
• Technology: a custom artificial intelligence, trained on real animal photos and powered by the global Woundipets™ artistic database, will analyse the animal's morphology and distinctive features.
• Result: the app will generate a personalised character faithful to the original pet, to which customisable accessories can be added.
Q: Who is the character carrying the red briefcase?
A: That is the official mascot of Woundipets™! He is part of the Lore (stories and characters). Most importantly, he was actually the very first Woundipet ever created, as a test design — which explains why he does not have exactly the same facial shape, posture or accessories as his peers. The Founder therefore chose to make him the brand's symbolic mascot.
5. Multimedia & Entertainment
Q: What will the Woundipets™ YouTube and TikTok channels cover?
A:These channels will feature natural health advice and wellness practices designed to soothe pets while awaiting a veterinary consultation (or when access to a clinic is temporarily unavailable). These recommendations stem from extensive research as well as natural methods tested and validated over the years by the Founder with her own animals.
Q: What types of video games are planned for the ecosystem?
A:Passionate about gaming and interactive creation, the Founder envisions a diverse multi-platform offering: accessible casual mobile games, more immersive 3D experiences (notably a voxel metaverse on The Sandbox and original "cozy" style games), as well as visual adaptations (skins and cosmetic items) across major platforms such as Fortnite and Roblox.
Q: Why does the Webtoon have a different art style from Woundipets™, and how does it connect to the project?
A:The Webtoon is a distinct creation adopting a humorous, illustrated "slice of life" format. It chronicles the everyday life of the Founder and her two cats, Tiny and Kyukyu. It was through Tiny's illness that the idea for Woundipets™ was born. The Webtoon thus serves as a narrative bridge telling the human genesis of the project, while introducing the Woundipets™ universe to a vast community of millions of readers passionate about this literary genre.
6. Security, Protection & Logistics
Q: Are the project and the brand legally protected?
A: Yes, the brand and the creative universe are officially registered with the U.S. Copyright Office (Library of Congress) and protected internationally — concepts, 3D files, NFT metadata, smart contracts, visuals and merchandise.
Q: How can scams be avoided?
A: The only official website is https://www.woundipets.com. No member of the team will ever send you a private message first asking for cryptocurrency, credit card information or confidential data. Only the links displayed on the website and on the Discord server are official.
7. Team & Development
Q: Who is behind Woundipets™?
A: The project is founded and directed by Nanny Silvestre, an independent author and creator with a 30-year artistic career (Creations Sylwest). Specialised freelance professionals (developers, 3D designers, advisors) are occasionally engaged.
Why has the Founder, Nanny Silvestre, stayed out of the social media spotlight despite a 30-year artistic career?
A:Throughout much of her creative journey, the Founder preferred to create discreetly, voluntarily stepping back from social media due to a natural inclination toward privacy and sensitivity to public exposure. Following personal growth and inner work that built complete confidence in her craft, she now approaches this new phase with peace of mind, ready to showcase her works and publicly champion the Woundipets™ mission.
Q: The Founder took 2 years to create the project. Will the upcoming NFT editions and merchandise take just as long?
A: Not at all! These past two years served to build rock-solid foundations: creating the ecosystem, international legal filings, and also finishing parallel artistic projects (re-editions and translations of her French novels, and the redesign of her personal website).
From now on, the Founder is 100% dedicated to Woundipets™. And to accelerate future milestones, the plan is to collaborate with a team of talented freelancers on a more permanent basis. The vast majority of the foundational work is already complete!
8. Community & Support
Q: How can I help or contribute to the project?
A: Woundipets™ can be supported by joining the community on Discord and social media, by spreading the word, or by acquiring an NFT or a piece of merchandise when they are released.
Q: Where can I ask a question if the answer isn't listed here?
A: The Founder can be contacted directly through the contact page of the official website: woundipets.com/pages/contact.
